It's that special time of year....

....and somehow this is the first post i've done all October! Between mitigating losses and pretending im a wizard, i've had little time to celebrate the only month of the year where it's socialy acceptable to gourge yourself on candy and drive around blasting Thriller. Be prepared, there is more to come....

I don't know if anybody out there has seen this....

...but it looks pretty scary. From what i've heard it was made in 2007 but Dreamworks bought it out before it was released intending to make a big budget remake. I guess no one liked that idea because the original version is finally going to theaters (select cities only).

Looks pretty freakin creepy, like Blair Witch Project in a house with ghosts instead of....ummmm...witches.....

Review: Deadgirl

Sooooooooo months ago my roommate comes downstairs and says "Have you heard about this new where some kids rape a zombie?". Me, being the horror loving fanatic that I am, responded "Of course I’ve been hearing about this for months now, and I don't think that’s exactly what it's about....". Fast forward several months later, I finally get a chance to watch Deadgirl and it turns out that, yes that IS exactly what its about.

Everyone loves lists, right? So want better way to start a blog, huh? These movies may not be the best or even the scariest, but thier personal favs that hold a special place in my heart.
10: Suspiria
Dario Argento's disturbing masterpiece is one of the most tense movies i've ever seen. Using a driving score and some very twisted set piecies, this one grabs you and doesn't let go. I'll never forget watching it for the first time with my roomate whom, after the razor wire scene, sits silent for a moment then says "Dario Argento is a terrible person....". Classic.
